SPRING SEMESTER SEPULCHER III.

Selected course projects from A&D 380 — Fantasy Exhibitions::

  • Students were assigned a work from the Purdue Gallery Collections around which to create a "Fantasy Exhibition" — They were free to assume that they could borrow any works of art for their exhibitions.
  • Students completed the project in stages, creating a proposal, an annotated bibliography of research sources to support their proposal, and finally the "fantasy exhibition" itself.
  • The "Fantasy Exhibition" consisted of a paper describing the exhibition OR a shorter paper plus a creative project. In addition, Students wrote an introductory wall label or "catalogue copy," four examples of "label copy" plus a list of works to be included in the exhibition.

Cooper, "Dogs in Art"

Stokke, "Body in Art"

Phillips, "Museum Clue 2002"
