The best shots I could get of the venue for the Ciberarts festival which ran concurrent with the conference (although at a different location in Bilbao). What you're seeing here is one of three large rooms filled with computers where the accepted works were displayed. The venue is an old movie theater called the Merkado.

Interactive mat with video projection that "chased" you when you stood on the mat.

Interactive clothing/performance piece that tracked your vital signs and projected them on a screen along with other participants'.

Projection-based work with mouse interaction on pedestals.

Easily the most interesting work in the show--it consisted of a three-dimensional space where architecture built with opaque plastic boxes was translated into music in real time. I'm going to write to the artist to try to get better photo documentation.,

Interactive piece based on the idea of a recipie with videos triggered by the placement or removal of measuring spoons.

Kinetic piece with projection of woman's nude body on these pulsating computer circuit forms.

Patrons watching a bullfight in the t.v. lounge of the hotel (because no-one wants to watch it alone in their room... how much fun would that be???)

Saving money buying groceries... the 4% alcohol sparkling wine was just over half a Euro (about 75 cents); the water half a euro; 3 kilograms oranges for 2 1/2 euro; candied almonds for 2 1/2 euro; coke about half a euro a can.

Strawberries... HUGE strawberries on special for 1 euro for this whole package.

And this woman (the Pink Lady) on a German court t.v. show... she was being sued by her two sons for not being enough like a "real mother" -- hey, at least she could match her hair to her shirt!
